When you have earned your Limited Edition Rewards we will send you an email explaining how you can get your upgrade or long haul flight.

You can book tickets with your 2017 Limited Edition Rewards in January 2018. The travel period is specified under our T&Cs.

Long haul flight [noun]

A flight to a place far, far away. Like Bangkok, USA or Singapore.

Upgrade [noun]

Enhanced value or excellence. Meaning our glorious seats in Premium on the 787 Dreamliner.

FAQ - Free Long Haul Ticket

You need to fly at least 20 round trips (or 40 one-way flights) with Norwegian and earn at least 3000 CashPoints on flight tickets between 1 January and 31 December 2017.

Remember to add your Reward Number when making your booking. You can also claim your CashPoints and flights up to 30 days after departure.

Members who are about to qualify can follow their progress in My Account after 1 July.

If you have a flight history that indicates that you will qualify for a free long haul ticket, we will also send you emails periodically with promotion updates including your progress.

Booking directly on Norwegian.com: Make sure to add your Reward Number during booking or claim your flights up to 30 days after departure.

Booking through a travel agent: Make sure that your travel agent adds your Reward Number to your booking. Your Reward Number can be found on our website, app or any balance statement email you have received from Norwegian Reward.

You can find your Reward Number in all the balance statement emails from Norwegian Reward, on the Norwegian app, or by logging onto your Reward profile.

Only flights registered to the individual member’s profile will count towards this promotion, and not other travellers in the party. Therefore, it will only be your flight that counts towards the free ticket, and not those of the rest of your family.

Remember to register the Reward Number of the other travellers who are Reward members, so they earn CashPoints and the flights will count towards their profiles in the promotion.

After qualifying for a ticket, you will receive an email in January 2018 with details on how to redeem your ticket. You will also receive an SMS if your phone number is registered on your Norwegian Reward profile. The ticket must be booked by 31 January 2018. If you qualify for a ticket and have not heard from us by 15 January 2018, please send us an email through our contact form on our website so we have time to assist you before the booking deadline. Remember to also check your spam filter if you have not received the email.

If you do not book your free long haul ticket by the deadline of 31 January 2018, you will no longer be able to redeem it.

The travel period for the ticket is the entire year of 2018, with the exception of the following dates:

From 14 December to 31 December 2018

Yes, you can book additional tickets at the time of your own booking. Please note that your own ticket is free and any additional tickets will be charged the available fare at time of booking.

Although we say you get a free long haul ticket, you can also choose to fly to any of our short haul destinations. The choice is yours!

Your earned Rewards are personal benefits which are not a part of the Family Account feature. If you have joined a Family Account we will only count CashPoints and flights that you personally have earned towards the promotion.

FAQ - Free Premium Upgrade

Our Premium class is available on all long haul routes that are serviced by our 787 Dreamliners. A free Premium upgrade means that you can purchase an economy LowFare or Flex ticket and get upgraded to Premium class free of charge.

You need to fly at least 10 round trips (or 20 one-way flights) with Norwegian using Flex tickets. Travel must be made between 1 January and 31 December 2017.

Yes. If you are qualified for both the free long haul ticket and free upgrade, you may combine them and book at the same time in January 2018.

Terms and Conditions - Free Long Haul Ticket

Qualifying flights must be flown by the customer between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017.

The customer must add their Reward Number during the flight booking or up to 30 days after departure.

The customer must fly a minimum of 20 round trips (or 40 one-way flights) with Norwegian between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017. All flights must be physically flown by the participating member.

In addition, the customer must earn at least 3000 CashPoints on flights in the qualifying period. As a member you earn up to 20% CashPoints on net fare.

CashPoint earning on flight tickets is personal and limited to max 20%. CashPoints are earned based on the net ticket price (excl. taxes, charges and optional services).

Extra CashPoints earned on flight tickets from the Bank Norwegian credit card are counted towards qualification for the free long haul ticket, except the 1% earning on all purchases.

After qualifying for a ticket, you will receive an email in January 2018 with details on how to redeem your ticket. You will also receive an SMS if your phone number is registered on your Norwegian Reward profile.

The ticket must be booked by 31 January 2018. Information about the ticket

The free ticket is personal and may only be used by the Reward member/customer who earned it.

The ticket is a round trip LowFare+ ticket to any of Norwegian’s destinations and includes seat reservation and luggage. Meals are also included on long haul flights.

The ticket follows the same fee, change and cancellation restrictions as ordinary LowFare tickets.

The trip must start and end at the same airport in the country in which you reside.

If you require connections to reach your desired destination, we will cover one connecting flight each way. This means, if you live in Tromsø and want to fly to New York, we will cover Tromsø - Oslo - New York and back again.

The travel period for the ticket is the entire year of 2018, with the exception of the following dates:

  • From 1 January to 15 January 2018
  • From 21 March to 3 April 2018
  • From 15 June to 26 August 2018
  • From 14 December to 31 December 2018

The ticket may be upgraded to Premium class for NOK 2000 (approx. 200 GBP) one-way.

Additional tickets may be purchased at an extra cost and added to the same booking.

It is not possible to exchange the ticket into cash.

On certain days and for some departures, some flights may have low or no available seats. Access to free tickets corresponds to available tickets on our website at the time of booking.

Norwegian Reward reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

We take no responsibility for printed errors or last minute changes.

The upgrade requires that you purchase a LowFare, LowFare+ or Flex ticket to any of Norwegian’s destinations serviced by a 787 Dreamliner. You will need to contact us in January 2018 so we can book the ticket for you. This is to ensure that the Premium cabin is available when we book your LowFare or Flex ticket and upgrade it free of charge.

If you are flying on a return ticket, we will upgrade your ticket on your outbound and return journey. This is subject to availability on both flights.

The upgraded ticket follows the same fee, change and cancellation restrictions as the original ticket class you purchased (LowFare or Flex).

The upgrade is valid for all tickets with departure dates in 2018, with the exception of the following dates:

  • From 1 January to 15 January 2018
  • From 21 March to 3 April 2018
  • From 15 June to 26 August 2018
  • From 14 December to 31 December 2018

Additional tickets may be purchased and upgraded at an extra cost as long as they are within the same booking. Additional tickets may be upgraded to Premium class for NOK 2000 (approx. 200 GBP) one-way.
