Norwegian Reward Named Airline Loyalty Program of the Year for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Norwegian Reward has been named Program of the Year - Europe & Africa for the fourth year at the 2020 Freddie Awards.
In a ceremony held online this year due to COVID-19, Norwegian's loyalty program picked up a total of four Freddie Awards – a new record for Norwegian Reward – and was runner up in the two remaining categories.
Besides Program of the Year, Norwegian Reward also won Best Airline Promotion (for its 2019 Christmas Calendar); Best Airline Customer Service; and Best Affinity Credit Card. The loyalty program was runner up in the two other remaining categories: Best Airline Redemption and Best Airline Elite Program.

"Since making its debut win of the 210 Rising Star Award in 2016, Norwegian Reward has earned overall frequent flyer Program of the Year Award in Europe for four consecutive years, one of the longest streaks ever for this award. This year’s wins were especially impressive and was their best showing yet," said Randy Petersen, Founder of the Freddie Awards.
The Freddie Awards were introduced in 1988 by InsideFlyer magazine’s Publisher and Editor Randy Petersen. They’re named in honour of Sir Freddie Laker, founder of Britain’s first all-jet air carrier, Laker Airways Limited, which became the largest individually and privately-owned airline in the world.
Petersen wanted to pay tribute to Laker’s pioneering marketing efforts and competitive spirit, creating the awards to recognise the world’s most outstanding frequent travel programs.
